Will you be sporting this limited-edition t-shirt next weekend? The Run for the Ribbons 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run is Saturday, April 8, and it's not too late to register!
Race registration includes FREE admission to Discovery Place Kids-Rockingham on the day of the race, plus an exclusive t-shirt for 5K participants (while supplies last). This year's vivid blue shirt is guaranteed to bring out your healthy post-race glow and highlight your stylish commitment to community wellness.
Run for the Ribbons brings together runners and walkers of all ages and levels to benefit Discovery Place Kids-Rockingham’s I CAN Be Healthy initiatives and the Richmond CARE Fund to improve the health status of the community.
Click here for a closer look at our challenging course, which takes you through downtown Rockingham, starting and ending in front of the Museum. At the finish line, everyone celebrates at SpringFest at the Rock, a festival featuring vendors, live music and a car show.
Registration is $35 for the 5K and $15K for the Fun Run. Students and teachers can register for 5K for just $15, and Museum Members receive $5 off registration when they sign up in-person at the Museum.
